Building the Foundations of Formal Learning
The LKG (Lower Kindergarten) program at Trust N Care Montessori Nepal welcomes children aged 3 to 4 years into a more structured yet still deeply child-centered Montessori classroom. This stage marks an exciting shift children are ready to engage with early literacy, numeracy, and more complex sensorial materials, while still learning at their own individual pace through hands-on discovery.
Social and emotional growth remain central to our LKG curriculum as well. Children practice grace and courtesy, collaborative problem-solving, and increasing independence in daily routines skills that prepare them not just academically, but holistically, for the more advanced UKG year ahead.
